Over 41 Lakh Farming Families to Benefit
The latest CM-KISAN installment is expected to benefit more than 41 lakh farming families in the state.
The beneficiaries include:
- Small and marginal farmers
- Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG)
- Landless agricultural households
The financial assistance is aimed at providing timely support to farming families, helping them meet agricultural expenses, invest in farming activities and strengthen their economic stability.
CM-KISAN 5th Installment 2026 Release Event
The state-level CM-KISAN installment release programme will be organised at OUAT Krushi Shiksha Sadan in Bhubaneswar.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will officially release the funds through DBT. Deputy Chief Minister and Agriculture & Farmers’ Empowerment Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo will also participate in the programme along with other dignitaries.
District-Level CM-KISAN Programmes
Along with the state-level event, district-level programmes will be organised across Odisha. Several ministers and senior dignitaries have been assigned to lead the events in different districts.
The designated districts include Bhubaneswar, Khordha, Dhenkanal, Kalahandi, Ganjam, Cuttack, Kendujhar, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Puri and Jagatsinghpur.
The coordinated release is intended to ensure that eligible farmers receive the financial assistance smoothly through the DBT system.
