Educational Qualification and Experience
Candidates must meet the educational qualification and relevant professional experience requirements specified by SBI.
1. Manager (Security)
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university or institution.
- Must have served at least as a Major in the Indian Army or an equivalent rank in the Indian Navy/Air Force.
- Minimum 10 years of commissioned service.
Alternatively, candidates must have served at least as a Deputy Commandant in paramilitary forces with a minimum of 10 years of officer-level service.
2. Deputy Manager (Security)
- Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university or institution.
- Must have served at least as a Captain in the Indian Army or an equivalent rank in the Indian Navy/Air Force.
- Minimum 5 years of commissioned service.
Alternatively, candidates must have served at least as an Assistant Commandant in paramilitary forces with a minimum of 5 years of officer-level service.
Important: A graduation degree alone does not make a candidate eligible. The prescribed defence or paramilitary service experience is compulsory.
Age Limit
The age limit will be calculated as on 31 October 2026.
