The Indian Air Force (IAF) has officially announced the Agniveer Vayu Rally Recruitment 2025 for unmarried male and female candidates under the Other Than Science Subjects category. This is a golden opportunity for young aspirants to serve the nation while building a prestigious career in the armed forces.

The rallies will be held from 27 August 2025 to 14 September 2025 at five major locations – Jalandhar, Vadodara, Baripada, Chennai, and Mumbai. Successful candidates will receive a monthly package starting at ₹30,000 along with a Seva Nidhi package of approximately ₹10.04 lakh at the end of the 4-year service period.

Baripada, Odisha

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• 10+2/Intermediate in any stream with 50% aggregate & 50% in English.
• 2-year Vocational Course with 50% aggregate & 50% in English (either in the course or in Class 10/12).
• 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer Science/Instrumentation/IT) with 50% aggregate & 50% in English.

Age Limit

• Born between 01 Jan 2005 and 01 Jul 2008.
• Maximum age at enrolment: 21 years.

Physical Standards

• Height: Male – 152 cm, Female – 152 cm (relaxations apply for certain regions).
• Weight: Proportionate to height & age.
• Chest (Male): 77 cm with 5 cm expansion.
• Eyesight: 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6.

Salary & Benefits

• Seva Nidhi Package: ₹10.04 lakh (tax-free) after 4 years.
• Insurance Cover: ₹48 lakh.
• Additional allowances for risk, dress, travel, ration & accommodation.

Selection Process

1. Physical Fitness Test (PFT)

• Run: 1.6 km in 7 mins (Male), 8 mins (Female).
• Push-ups, sit-ups & squats as per gender norms.

2. Written Test (45 mins, OMR-based)

• English (20 Qs) & Reasoning + General Awareness (30 Qs).
• Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer.

3. Adaptability Test – I & II

• Tests suitability for Air Force environment.

4. Medical Examination

• Conducted by Air Force Medical Team.

• There is no online application – candidates must report directly at the rally venue
• Carry original documents & 4 self-attested copies.
• Required documents: 10th/12th/Diploma/Vocational certificates, domicile certificate, photographs, Aadhaar, NCC certificate (if applicable), and consent form.
• Reporting time: 6 AM to 10 AM on rally day.
